Someone that l used to know once said ” death is not a destination but a gateway to a new kind of life”.
Life is a journey and the dimension we are experiencing now is just but a human experience. The eternal aspect of life is determined by mere choices, one of them being receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
This human experience is an expression of a higher realm which is the spiritual, it’s more real, more tangible and it is neither future nor past its present….
Understanding this has made me realize that it’s possible to die several times in this life. Some people die everyday. They die to themselves to submit to a higher calling, a higher power or purpose. The reason why many people are ineffective is they fear death, death to self. The moment you die you give life to a certain power that is above you.
The moment that you feel like you have lost it all, you are hopeless and there is uncertainty is the moment to die to yourself and give birth to a new form. My mentor told me that “… anything that is broken has a new future”. Once you remove the fear of death, you liberate yourself from the shackles of self doubt because….
What can you take from a man who has lost everything?
What can you do to hurt a man who has died to all his desires?
What can you do to threaten a man who has faced everything he feared the most.
What can you do to humiliate a man who has lost his reputation and has nothing left to protect.
Die everyday to yourself, and submit to a higher power…become fearless..
